Wine: A Friend to All Procrastinators
Our wine guy, Jonathon Alsop, says that wine is the perfect gift for the procrastinating shopper. It's easy to find. It's pretty much affordable. And just about everyone likes it — or at least likes having a bottle of wine on hand.
He joined us in Studio Three as our gift giving guide.
Alsop's Suggestions:
- If you're in the mood to splurge, rather than spending a lot on one bottle of wine, spend $25 on a magnum.
- Another affordable option is to by three bottles of wine from Portugal or Argentina.
- Champagne bucket. Who doesn't want one of those?
- A $75 bottle of Champagne tastes better than a $10 one, but six bottles of $9 Cava is much better than a bottle of pricey Champagne
GUEST:
- Jonathon Alsop, founder of The Boston Wine School.
