The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band remains—to this day, nearly half a century after it was released—one of the most listened to, written about and influential albums in the history of rock music. Today on BPR, we went inside the making of the legendary record with Beatles expert Scott Frieman, ahead of his Feb. 11 "Deconstructing Sgt. Pepper" presentation at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline. (UPDATE: Due to illness, this show has been rescheduled for April 3).
