Car Fumes Kill Boston Boy
An 11-year-old boy died of carbon monoxide poisoning today, according to the the Boston Fire Department.
The boy was overcome as he sat in a running car to keep warm. He had been helping his father who was shoveling the car out of a snow bank.
A fire department spokesman said the snow bank was covering the car's exhaust, causing the fumes to collect in the vehicle.
