Beat The Press Video: Scott Brown Drops Out via Text

Earlier today, Scott Brown announced that he would not run for the Senate seat left vacant by John Kerry. While that was unexpected, the way Brown issued his announcement was also unexpected. He broke the news in a text message to the Boston Herald that said “U are the first to know.” 

Only later did a Brown spokesman confirm the news to The Boston Herald. Even in not running, it seems that Scott Brown continues to have his media favorites. No word yet on whether Brown has his sites set on a run for governor.
